We have had this vine for several years growing on our brick. It doesn’t damage masonry and it’s quite beautiful. This year when the leaves started falling they fell on our walkway. Our 4 year old westie decided to eat some this past Sunday. I had no idea that Virginia Creeper causes animals as well as humans to get internal inflammation. Particularly in gastrointestinal and respiratory systems. Our westie is better, she still isn’t eating as much as normal but hopefully on the road to recovery.
