On July 8, 2020, this one hatched!! On my Mom’s Birthday. Love at first sight!
I had planned on taking out my automatic egg turner on July 8. I went to check on my eggs and there it was, sitting up on top of the egg turner. I nearly went in panic mode. My daughter and I moved fast! We got the keet out, took out the egg turner and set up a brooder inside the house. I felt like a proud Mama. We were so excited, we accomplished nothing for a few days. We literally hung out in the room with the incubator.
